HabenEri is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings together the Eritrean diaspora across North America. Our mission is to deliver life-changing medical care, customized accessible transportation, and vital support services directly to individuals living with physical disabilities in Eritrea.

A Call to the Diaspora

Are You an Eritrean American? Your People Need You!

For many Eritreans with disabilities, especially those disabled by war, the need did not end when the fighting ended. Many continue to live with lifelong injuries, limited mobility, ongoing medical needs, and financial hardship. These men and women gave deeply for Eritrea. Now, the Eritrean diaspora has an opportunity to honor that sacrifice in a practical, meaningful way.

How We Assist the Eritrean Disability Community

Through donations and volunteer support, we help provide three key areas of assistance to Eritreans with disabilities.

Financial Support

We support the disabled association in Eritrea with financial contributions to supplement quality of life.

Medical Support

We provide mobility aids, medication, medical supplies, and other essential items.

Professional Support

We connect Eritreans with disabilities to professional healthcare providers and specialists.
